Condor officially resumes Münster–Palma de Mallorca service

Condor has officially resumed round-trip service between Münster and Palma de Mallorca, restoring one of the German market’s most popular leisure routes in time for the peak summer travel season. The reinstated service gives travelers in northwestern Germany more convenient nonstop access to Mallorca while further strengthening Condor’s presence in high-demand leisure markets.

From a strategic standpoint, the Münster–Palma de Mallorca route not only serves a steady flow of island holiday traffic but also enhances Condor’s competitive position against carriers already active in the market, including Ryanair and Eurowings. With demand for Mediterranean travel continuing to remain strong, the route’s return underscores the airline’s focus on leisure destinations with enduring appeal and clear summer revenue potential.

In the initial phase of operations, Condor is serving the route with multiple weekly frequencies using Airbus A320-family aircraft, providing capacity well matched to seasonal leisure demand while retaining the flexibility needed to optimize operational efficiency.

Münster is one of the most distinctive cities in North Rhine-Westphalia, known for its charming old town, the Prinzipalmarkt square, and its historical legacy linked to the Peace of Westphalia.

Palma de Mallorca, meanwhile, is the vibrant gateway to the Balearic Islands, attracting visitors with the seafront La Seu Cathedral, the distinctive Bellver Castle, and long stretches of Mediterranean beaches, cementing its status as one of Europe’s leading resort destinations.
