Air Arabia Abu Dhabi officially launches Abu Dhabi–Amman route
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has officially launched a new route linking Abu Dhabi with Amman, adding an important air corridor between the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. The new service not only expands travel options for passengers but also reinforces Abu Dhabi’s role as a key connectivity hub in the Middle East.
The launch of services to Amman carries strategic significance for Air Arabia Abu Dhabi as the airline continues to expand its network from the UAE capital. The route is designed to serve visiting friends and relatives, business and leisure demand, while further strengthening links between two of the region’s major economic, cultural and administrative centers.
In the initial phase, the airline is operating three round-trip flights per week between Abu Dhabi and Amman using Airbus A320 aircraft, providing capacity well matched to a market with steady travel demand and strong growth potential.
Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, is known for its modern skyline, the Corniche waterfront boulevards and landmark attractions such as the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The city also stands out for its blend of upscale hospitality, contemporary Arab culture and major entertainment destinations including Yas Island.
In Jordan, Amman is one of the Middle East’s oldest cities, where history and modern urban life intersect in distinctive fashion. Visitors can explore the Amman Citadel, the ancient Roman Theatre, and use the city as a gateway to Petra, the Dead Sea and many of Jordan’s other renowned destinations.
