Technical Issue Details
An Azul Embraer E195-E2 (PS-ADE) performing flight AD6408 was cleared for takeoff from runway 17R at São Paulo Congonhas Airport but experienced a 50-second delay before beginning its takeoff roll.
A GOL Boeing 737-800 (PR-GXN) conducting flight G31629 from Salvador was on final approach to the same runway.
Due to the delayed departure of the Embraer, the distance between the two aircraft became dangerously small.
Outcome / Handling

While the GOL aircraft initiated the go-around and executed a right turn, the Azul aircraft proceeded with its takeoff.
According to telemetry data, the aircraft reached a minimum vertical separation of about 75 feet (22 meters) and a horizontal separation of 0.14 nautical miles before safely diverging.
The GOL Boeing landed safely 15 minutes later, while the Azul Embraer continued its flight to Belo Horizonte.
Current Status
The aircraft were temporarily grounded for technical inspection.
