Technical Issue Details
•The Boeing 737-800 (EC-MPG) was performing flight UX6079 from Madrid (MAD) to Palma Mallorca (PMI).
•During approach to runway 06L, a bird struck the aircraft's nose gear, causing damage to the nose gear steering mechanism.
•Local media initially reported a potential loss of a wheel during the landing rollout.
Outcome / Handling
•The aircraft touched down on runway 06L, but veered to the right edge during rollout.
•The aircraft exited the runway at approximately 55 knots over ground and came to a stop on an opposite-direction high-speed taxiway with a damaged left-hand nose tyre.
•Emergency services responded to the scene, and the aircraft was later towed to the apron where passengers disembarked normally.

•No injuries were reported among the passengers or crew members.
