Jet2 (LS) officially launches Nottingham (EMA) - Preveza (PVK) route

Jet2 has officially launched its seasonal service linking Nottingham with Preveza, adding another direct air bridge between England’s Midlands and the northwestern coast of Greece. The new route not only caters to rising summer leisure demand, but also gives travelers easier access to the highly attractive Ionian Islands.

The introduction of this nonstop service is significant for both ends of the market. From Nottingham and the wider East Midlands catchment, passengers now have an additional direct option to reach turquoise beaches, tranquil seaside towns, and the distinctive island-and-coastal tourism ecosystem of western Greece. In the opposite direction, the route further strengthens Jet2’s Mediterranean footprint, allowing the carrier to capitalize on seasonal holiday demand while enhancing connectivity between major UK population centers and warm-weather destinations rich in leisure appeal.

The route is operated once weekly with a Boeing 737-800. The seasonal operating model indicates the airline is closely aligned with actual market demand while optimizing capacity deployment during the peak summer travel period.
